Our name

Modern Day Saints

Modern Day Saints are extraordinary individuals from the 19th century to the present who have navigated difficult challenges, such as discrimination, poverty, modern warfare, global pandemics and the digital age. Modern Day Saints show that everyday holiness is attainable in the modern world.

What we believe

We believe that God is present in all things: in nature, in people and in the universe itself. As an Interfaith Pantheist community, we welcome seekers of all backgrounds, traditions and walks of life to explore faith together without judgment.

We believe in the power of meaningful conversation to transform lives, heal communities and strengthen faith. We believe religious institutions must be held accountable to the people they serve, with transparency, compassion and integrity.

We believe in the full empowerment of women, in leadership, in ministry, in family and in society. We believe that youth, teens and young adults are not the future of the church; they are the church, right now.

Our core values

  1. Meaningful conversation

We create safe spaces where honest, open dialogue about faith, doubt and life is not only welcomed, it is celebrated.

  2. Accountability

We hold ourselves and our institutions to a higher standard, leading with transparency, humility and a commitment to justice.

  3. Women’s empowerment

We affirm the gifts, voices and leadership of women at every level of our church and community.

  4. Interfaith welcome

We honor the sacred in all traditions (Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and beyond) and build bridges across faith communities.

  5. Youth, teens and young adults

We invest deeply in the next generation, equipping them with faith, skills and purpose to lead now and for a lifetime.

  6. Community service

We are called to serve, in our neighborhoods, our city and our world, as an expression of living faith.
